What is this Course About?
People in pain often hold their breath when they move as a protective mechanism. They also avoid the area that is worrying them.
With breathwork they need to breathe into that space they need to explore it with curiosity and override their fear.
Through doing breathwork nociceptor sensitivity decreases, and descending pain inhibition is boosted. Feelings of safety are increased and the meaning of pain changes.
What Will You Get from this Course?
At the end of this course, you will have a deeper understanding about pain and learn how to overcome it with the help of conscious breathwork.
We will start with some breathwork, we will do some pain education, we will move with our breath and then we will do a self massage followed by a visualisation to shrink our pain.
